Submission Process
Follow these steps to successfully submit your manuscript
Prepare Your Manuscript
01
Follow IEEE manuscript templates. Papers should be in double-column IEEE format. Supplementary material and datasets are encouraged.
SUBMIT VIA THE IEEE AUTHOR PORTAL
02
ll submissions must be made through the IEEE Author Portal.
Peer Review Process
03
Each paper is reviewed by a minimum of two independent experts through a single-anonymous peer review process.
Revision & Decision
04
Authors of papers requiring revision will receive detailed reviewer feedback. A final acceptance decision is made after successful revision.
Open Access Options
05
IEEE J-ERM participates in IEEE’s hybrid open access program. Authors may pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) to make their paper freely available.
Peer Review & Publication Process
Is Your Article a Good Fit?
IEEE J-ERM publishes research bridging electromagnetic engineering with healthcare and biomedical applications, written for an interdisciplinary audience. Manuscripts should be concise, succinct, and accessible across technical disciplines, clearly demonstrating the electromagnetic principle and its application to health and medicine. Avoid overloading papers with excessive figures and formulasSubmission Policies
All authors must comply with IEEE’s publication policies. Violations may result in rejection or retraction.
Originality
All submitted work must be entirely original. Verbatim copying of others’ work and paraphrasing without citation are prohibited. Data or figures from other sources must be properly cited.
No Simultaneous Submission
IEEE prohibits submitting substantially similar manuscripts to multiple journals or conferences simultaneously. Authors must confirm exclusivity at submission.
AI-Generated Content Prohibited
Artificial intelligence generation of any part of a manuscript (including text, figures, or data) is strictly forbidden. The use of AI tools for language polishing must be disclosed.
Self-Plagiarism
Authors cannot republish substantially similar work across archival publications. Significant overlap with the authors’ own prior work must be disclosed and clearly differentiated.
Ethical Conduct
Research involving human or animal subjects must include a statement confirming approval from the appropriate institutional review board (IRB/ethics committee), in line with ICMJE standards.
Authorship & Conflicts of Interest
All authors must have made substantial contributions to the work. Conflict of interest statements and funding source disclosures are mandatory. Institutional approval must be obtained before submission.
