In order to disseminate and share information quickly and efficiently, this journal aims for concise and succinct articles that can be understood by researchers and practitioners in academia, industry, clinical practice, and government. J-ERM’s readers come from a wide range of fields, not only microwave instrumentation research,but also from different disciplines, such as electrical engineering and bioengineering and even different professions, such as medicine and the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, manuscripts should strive for a balance between technical details that are interesting to researchers working on electromagnetics and those who are in the broader fields of biomedical applications. We encourage our authors to consider this important factor when writing a manuscript. Try to make your manuscripts brief in form but comprehensive in scope,and inspiring for interdisciplinary applications. Do not overburden the text with too many figures and formulas. Instead, demonstrate the principle, and then describe how it might be used in health and medicine.
