IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwaves in Medicine
and BiologySubmit your original research to the leading international journal advancing research at the intersection of electromagnetic science, biomedical engineering, and healthcare.
The leading peer-reviewed publication on the interaction of electromagnetic fields with biological systems, spanning fundamental research to translational clinical applications.
The IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF and Microwaves in Medicine and Biology publishes state-of-the-art research on the application of electromagnetics, radio-frequency (RF), microwave, and millimeter-wave technologies in medicine and biology. The journal emphasizes interdisciplinary research that advances biological understanding and medical applications through electromagnetic technologies.
J-ERM’s focus is on the science and applications of medicine and biology related to and/or utilizing electromagnetics, radio frequency signals, and microwaves/millimeter-waves. Instrumentation, device fabrication and development, hardware, software, interface, simulation, mathematics, and physics described in the manuscripts are to support their implementation for biological and medical applications.
J-ERM encourages the submission of manuscripts with emphasis on state-of-the-art research related to electromagnetics theory, techniques, and integration for medical and biological applications. Pre-clinical and clinical application papers enabled by novel methods utilizing electromagnetics are particularly encouraged. Manuscripts should emphasize important features in biological studies and practical aspects in medical applications.
